WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has affected 53,092,605 people in the world and 1,299,409 deaths have occurred.
So far, more than 37,213,411 million patients in coronavirus have recovered and more than 14,579,785 million are undergoing treatment. The United States has the highest number of cases and deaths due to coronavirus worldwide. In the United States, 248,585 deaths and more than 18.73 million cases have been reported from coronavirus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 1,28,686 deaths and more than 87.27 million people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is one lakh 64 thousand 322 and more than 57 lakh 83 thousand people are affected.
In France, more than 1.898 million people were affected and 42,960 lost their lives. In Russia, more than 1.818 million people have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 32,032.
More than 1.484 million people have been affected in Spain, while 40,461 people have died. In Argentina, more than 1.284 million people were affected and 34,482 died.

The last 10 million cases worldwide were registered in just 21 days. It took 223 days from the first case to 10 million cases. From the first case to 25 million cases, coronavirus took 284 days. The last 25 million cases were registered in just 71 days.
The first case of coronavirus was registered on 17th November 2019. On 21st May, the number of cases reached 5 million. On 27th June, the number of cases crossed one crore.
