NARAN: A glacier collapsed onto houses and hotels along Lake Saif-ul-Mulook Road, causing significant structural damage but fortunately resulting in no casualties.
Local authorities confirmed that the affected area was uninhabited at the time, preventing any loss of life.
However, the collapse damaged two turbines, partially impacted five houses, and affected three hotels in the vicinity.
Officials also noted that access to the area remains challenging, as Naran Road has been closed for the past four months.
Emergency teams are currently assessing the extent of the damage, while authorities have urged travelers to exercise caution when planning visits to the region.
