A German aviation company has announced its readiness to produce lightweight aircraft in Pakistan, marking a significant advancement for the country’s aviation industry.
German company Cellier and Pakistan’s Skywings Aviation will collaborate to manufacture a lightweight aircraft known as a gyrocopter starting from next year. The maiden gyrocopter manufactured in Germany is set to arrive in Pakistan by August this year. This milestone event signifies the beginning of a new era in Pakistan’s aviation manufacturing sector, potentially enhancing local capabilities and expertise.
Gyrocopters, renowned for their lightweight and agile design, serve various purposes. They are especially valuable as air ambulances, offering swift medical transport.
Moreover, they find utility in agricultural applications like crop spraying, ensuring efficient coverage of farmlands.
Other potential uses encompass surveillance, reconnaissance, and personal transportation.
Meanwhile, Zahid Chanzeb, the Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Culture and Tourism, announced the initiation of a helicopter service catering to tourists visiting the picturesque locations of the province.
He expressed his approval of the introduction of the Elites Adventure Theme Park in Nathiagali, Abbottabad, during the park’s inaugural ceremony. Chanzeb emphasized the park’s significance in providing additional enjoyment opportunities for visitors to the area. The Elites Adventure Theme Park, situated in the scenic Nathiagali, offers a range of entertainment zones, promising visitors thrilling experiences and lasting memories.
