ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed authorities that not to increase gas prices.
Talking to the media, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the prime minister would set up procedures for giving relief to the people. The necessary institutional reforms would be introduced in the gas sector, she added.
Awan said that the irreversible supply of gas to the people would be continued. She earlier today thanked China for sending medical facilities, equipment and doctors to tackle the coronavirus disease in the country.
The federal government has expressed gratitude for sending medical facilities and doctors from China against the rapidly spreading coronavirus across the country, the special assistant said.
Dr. Firdous Awan took to twitter and wrote that the discipline with which China overcomes the outbreak was an example to the world. With the Chinese doctor’s experience, the virus would be easily tackled in Pakistan, she added.
