Karachi police have arrested an elder man Wazir Ahmed alias Chacha Dakait who was involved in the robbery of Rs 4 lakh along with his four accomplices who robbed the shopkeeper.
According to details, Karachi police saw Chacha Dakait along with four accomplices committing robbery in CCTV footage and arrested him after investigation.
The accused was arrested on the basis of a tip-off. Police were assisted by CCTV footage in the arrest of Wazir Ahmed alias Chacha Dakait.
CCTV footage of the incident shows how a rainy old man robbed a shopkeeper at gunpoint. The other suspects pulled out their weapons and supervised the robbery.
SSP South Ijaz Ahmed said that the accused along with four accomplices looted in Shamshir Khayaban Darakhshan. Cash worth Rs 4 lakh was looted from the shopkeeper.
Apart from cash, valuables were also snatched from the shopkeeper. Police recovered a wallet, a snatched watch, cash, and weapons from the uncle’s possession.
