Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has said that Murad Saeed has returned, and they have made him a senator; this is their victory.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar on Tuesday, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the previous government was adamant about excluding Murad Saeed, but they managed to get him into the Senate by making him a senator.
He said that bringing Murad Saeed into the Senate is a major victory for them. There was no vote-buying in the Senate election.
When a journalist raised the question that three votes were cast in the Senate, Ali Amin Gandapur responded that their goal was achieved, as they did not allow any buying and selling to occur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In response to a question about protests, he said that the party has not yet decided when, where, and how the protest will take place; this is still to be determined.
Later, reacting to the sentences given to PTI leaders in the May 9 case, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the sentences are a blatant violation of the Constitution and law. He added that justice has been buried in Pakistan.
