Bollywood actor Sunny Deol starrer ‘Gadar 2’ has entered Rs 400 crore club, a feat previously achieved only by Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie recorded a solid day 12 where it netted Rs 11.50 crore, bringing its total collection to Rs 400.10 crore.
The film’s Tuesday collections saw a drop of merely 10-12 per cent from its second Monday collections, which is an impressive hold.
Gadar 2 is on course to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in its lifetime run and will aim to cross the record of Pathaan, which is the highest-earning Bollywood film of all time at Rs 524 crore(Hindi language only).

Sequel to the 2001 release Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Gadar 2 featured Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles from the original. The film was directed by Anil Sharma, who had also helmed the blockbuster’s first part of the movie.
Will Gadar 2 replace Pathaan as the highest-grossing Indian film?
According to Sacnilk, Gadar 2 may find it tough to beat Pathaan’s record, mainly due to the “unprecedented business’ of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer in the first five days. While Gadar 2 had earned Rs 229 crore in its first five days, Pathaan had clocked Rs 271 crore. Pathaan’s collections, including dubbed versions, stand at Rs 543 crore.
