The funeral prayer of Major Syed Muiz Abbas Shah, who was martyred in a clash with the Khawarij insurgents in South Waziristan, has been offered.
According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing (ISPR), the funeral prayer of Major Syed Muiz Abbas Shah was held at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi, which was attended by Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and senior military officials.
On this occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir said that Major Syed Muiz Abbas Shah was martyred while fighting bravely. He sacrificed his life in the line of duty and upheld the noble traditions of bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism.
The Army Chief said that the entire nation stands with the family of the martyr and salutes his sacrifice for the defense of the homeland. Field Marshal Asim Munir added that we are indebted to our martyrs, and the blood of the martyrs is the foundation of the nation’s strength.
According to ISPR, Major Muiz was martyred while fighting the insurgents in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan.
