ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed relief that the remittance through Roshan Digital Account is accelerating.
The prime minister took to Twitter and wrote that he is thankful to the overseas Pakistanis as the funds sent by them through the Roshan Digital Accounts has crossed $200 million yesterday.

The Roshan Digital Account is an important facility for overseas Pakistanis to facilitate investment and other financial matters in Pakistan. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan on 10th September.

Overseas Pakistanis residing in any country can open accounts in eight major banks in the country and increase their financial resources by investing. Over the past 10 years, remittances from overseas Pakistanis have increased by 10.10 percent, which is even better than our neighbors India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines.
