Friends actor Matthew Perry has announced to release a memoir that will touch on Friends, his ‘lovers’ and ‘the big terrible thing’.
The 52-year-old Friends star announced on his Instagram that he is releasing a memoir. “So much has been written about me in the past,’ Matthew began. ‘I thought it was time people heard from me,” the actor posted.
According to him, the release date for the memoir is November 1, 2022. “I apologize it’s not a pop up book,’ the comedian ended his post. The autobiography is titled, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, and is set to be released this fall. The ‘Big Terrible Thing’ maybe his struggle with addiction.

Matthew is best known for his time on Friends, where he played Chandler Bing. The famous show was on-air for 10 seasons on NBC from 1994 to 2004.
In 2021, Matthew was joined by his fellow Friends cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer, for the highly anticipated Friends reunion. After the reunion, Matthew kept a low profile and took a break from his social media accounts.
