A remote-controlled explosion near a vehicle in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district claimed the lives of four people.
According to police, the blast occurred in the Nal tehsil of Khuzdar, targeting tribal figures.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the attack.
The blast occurred a day after security forces successfully foiled an attack by Fitna al-Khawarij on Bannu Cantonment, killing all 16 terrorists involved. In the clash, five soldiers embraced martyrdom, while 13 innocent civilians lost their lives and 32 others were injured.
ISPR reported that five brave soldiers attained martyrdom in the confrontation, and the terrorists, in their desperation, rammed two explosive-laden vehicles into the cantonment walls.
The suicide bombings caused a portion of the cantonment wall to collapse.
ISPR also called on the Afghan interim government to prevent its territory from being used for attacks against Pakistan, asserting that Pakistan reserves the right to take necessary actions against threats originating from across its borders.
