PAKPATTAN: A wild jackal on Saturday barged into a house in Arifwala Tehsil of Pakpattan District in Punjab and injured several children.
According to sources, the incident took place in 9EB, a suburban area of Arifwala, when a wild jackal entered into a house, attacking four children who were playing in the courtyard of the house.
Locals said during the incident the children were crying and make noise. Neighbors rushed to help them but then the wild animal ran out and disappeared in the fields.
The injured children were identified as Muhammad Ahmed, Shafqat Mehmood, Asad and Afzaal. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
