The Pakistani rupee showed a slight improvement against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.05% in the inter-bank market during Thursday’s opening trading hours.
At 10 am, the rupee was trading at 279.33, reflecting a gain of Re0.14 against the greenback.
The UK Pound Sterling (GBP) also saw gains against the Pakistani rupee, reaching Rs352.46 in the open market on Wednesday. The selling rate of the pound increased to Rs356.25 in Pakistan.
Similarly, the Saudi Riyal experienced gains against the Pakistani rupee in the open market, standing at Rs74.48 on Wednesday. The selling rate of the Riyal rose to Rs75, as reported by various exchange companies on the third day of the new business week, according to exchange rate monitoring portals.
