Surprisingly, 2,980 polling stations have been declared highly sensitive during the local body elections in Sindh. Despite this, incidents of firing, clashes, scuffles, and killings were reported during the elections.
According to details, China thanked the international community for successfully hosting the BRICS summits. The Foreign Office said that the friendship between the two countries is unprecedented.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan and China have always been strategic partners. There is a mutual iron brotherhood between the two countries. “Pakistan stands with all developing countries including BRICS members,” the statement added.
The State Department said that the BRICS summit hosted a high-level dialogue on global development to which a number of developing and emerging economies were invited.

Regarding the BRICS summit, the Foreign Office spokesman said that China hosted the BRICS summit and had earlier been involved in negotiations with Pakistan. BRICS decisions are made in consultation with member states.
Regarding the meeting, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that one member opposed Pakistan’s participation which is regrettable but the country hopes that the future participation of the organization will be in the overall interest of the developing world.
He said that Pakistan appreciates China’s role in promoting the interests of developing countries. “Together with China, we have been a strong voice for world peace, common prosperity, and comprehensive development,” he said.
It should be noted that Pakistan is the current head of G77 Plus and is also part of the Group of Friends of Global Development Initiative. The Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistan and China are committed to taking the comprehensive cooperation to a higher level.
