The cost of flour has significantly decreased in Karachi, representing the second price reduction in a span of two weeks.
According to the information provided, the Commissioners of Karachi have announced this decrease in flour prices. The cost of chakki flour has been reduced by Rs 10, resulting in a new price of Rs 105 per kilogram.
In the wholesale market, fine flour prices have fallen by Rs 3, establishing a new rate of Rs 92 per kilogram. Similarly, in the retail market, the price of fine flour has also decreased by Rs 3, now priced at Rs 96 per kilogram.
Additionally, the price of 2.5 kg atta has experienced a notable reduction of Rs 5, with the new wholesale price set at Rs 85 per kilogram. In the retail sector, the price for 2.5 kg atta has been lowered to Rs 89 per kilogram.
Previously, flour prices had surged in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various districts of Punjab.
