KARACHI: Arabian Equestrian Club of Pakistan (AECP) Karachi Chapter presented held first Arab Horse Show in Pakistan, where these most powerful minds of Pakistan brought their A+ breed to landscape of horse farming.
According to a statement, the event was hosted by Faizan Shehzada (Al-Ayat Arabiana), Jamal Qasim (Bin Qassim Arabiana), Irfan Lakhani (Lakhani Arabiana), Shahid Rathore (Badri Arabiana), Mudasir Memon (Mazrayaat Arabiana).
Faizan Shehzada said a lot of planning and mind power goes into getting each of these breeds to grow and go around the world for the topmost exhibition accessible only to a few. “We all have taken the initiative for systematizing and changing the horse-owning game altogether,” he added.
Furthermore, he said the aim to organize this horse show was to bring all horse lovers in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and freedom. So we all can make a difference together.
He said he was fond of horse since his child hood but in 2016 he started this journey when he bought some horses for his farmhouse, his first choice of breed was the most treasure and noble, the Arabian, considered by the desert Bedouins a priceless possession and cherished for its beauty, loyalty and stamina. At the time, the only Arabian horse breeding program in Pakistan was at the state stud, Remount Depot, from which acquiring horses was a difficult task.
So he decided to start his own breeding program and import of more and more horses which are unique and rare, his all Arabian horses were imported from overseas. The event was attended by many renowned personalities and big names of the field following Arabians brought there these exclusive studs.
