Fire erupts in Karachi’s Korangi factory, one man burnt to death

KARACHI: An unidentified man was burnt to death in a fire that engulfed in a factory near Korangi’s Chamra Chowrangi today (Friday).

According to details, the identity of the man is yet to be ascertained. Rescue officials said that fire erupted in the factory in morning and spread quickly to other parts.

They further added that due to the fire, goods worth millions have been destroyed.

The officials claimed that three fire tenders have reached the spot and are trying to overcome the fire.

Rescue officials added that the factory was closed due to Friday prayers and all the workers were had gone to offer prayers.
