KARACHI: A blaze broke out in a warehouse containing fire crackers after an explosion in the Saddar area on Sunday morning.
The fire department has dispatched three fire engines to douse the blaze and is making frantic efforts to control the fire. However, it has not been put out completely. The fire reportedly erupted in the warehouse and was difficult to control to a large number of firecrackers and flammable material.
Police, Rangers and rescue teams rushed to the scene after the incident was reported. The area residents said this incident had happened in the past as well. They complained that the presence of a fireworks warehouse in the residential locality was hazardous.
