Tom Cruise has found a new love interest who is 25 years younger than him.
The actor, 61, is reportedly getting close to socialite Elsina Khayrova, 36, daughter of a Russian MP and ex-wife of a diamond trading oligarch.
The duo was spotted engaged in a close dance at a London Mayfair gathering, and witnesses described Cruise as thoroughly enamored with his partner. Attendees at the event sought pictures with Cruise, but he gracefully declined until the DJ had to intervene, announcing his preference not to have any photos taken.
Arriving together at Grosvenor Square around 9 pm last Saturday, Cruise and Miss Khayrova surprised and thrilled other guests. Miss Khayrova, donning a strapless black dress adorned with a diamanté bow, posed for photographs with Avramenko Aliena, a former Miss Europe contestant, before hitting the dance floor with her Top Gun star companion. Reportedly, Cruise and Miss Khayrova departed the event together in the early hours.
A source that attended the party told the Daily Mail the couple entered the doors at around 9pm. Cruise was reportedly “besotted with her” and they seemed “inseparable, clearly a couple”.
The insider noted how Cruise was relaxed and friendly despite the obvious attention on the couple. “Cruise was very friendly – he kept being asked for pictures and politely declining,” they said.
“Eventually, the DJ had to make an announcement in Russian that Mr Cruise didn’t want any photos. He spent most of the night dancing with Ms Khayrova, but at one point he was just throwing himself around in the middle of a group of women.”
The former model, now a British citizen, was previously wed to Russian tycoon Dmitry Tsetkov. The couple shared a £22 million mansion on the Wentworth estate in Surrey, as well as residences in London valued at £18 million. Additionally, they owned properties in Dubai and Cyprus, accompanied by a collection of cars, jewelry, and art worth millions of pounds.
Their contentious divorce made headlines during the summer, with Miss Khayrova facing accusations of concealing significant assets, including her £1 million handbag collection, from her ex-husband.
