According to details, Muhammad Aurangzeb has departed for Washington, D.C. to finalize the trade agreement, where it is expected that both countries may sign a mutually agreed tariff before the August 1, 2025 deadline.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb attended a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, after which he was instructed to proceed to Washington so that a trade agreement with the United States could be finalized before the possible deadline.
It is worth mentioning that this trade agreement deadline was given by the Trump administration. Countries including Pakistan are concerned about tariffs and bilateral trade relations, while the U.S. government is taking steps to improve these matters.
Due to the tariffs imposed by the U.S. this year, there have been fluctuations in its relations with several countries. However, over time, the international community appears to be accepting the tariffs imposed by the United States.
