ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has said that the final phase of Long March has begun as two caravans are set to meet in Rawat today.

Taking to Twitter, he said in the second phase of their “Haqeeqi Azadi March,” people would arrive in Rawat on their way to enter into Rawalpindi.

Praising senior leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry said both leaders supervised the their respective caravans in a marvelous way, adding that both of them would meet in Rawat today.

Fawad Chaudhry said the final phase of Long March had begun, asking people to remain prepared as Imran Khan would be giving call to reach Rawalpindi.
Earlier, talking to senior journalists in Lahore, Chairman PTI Imran Khan was quoted as saying that he would announce the future strategy and PTI’s Haqeeqi Azadi March entry in Rawalpindi on Saturday, and that he would soon be among his people after recovering to lead the long march.
Security Plan:
Meanwhile, Punjab police are reported to have finalized security plan as PTI’s Long March enters into final stage.
MM News has learnt that more than 10,000 policemen will be deployed for security, and Sharpshooters will be deployed at the buildings on the route of the long march convoy. The provincial government has planned to monitor the march through CCTV cameras and drones.
At least 15 sections (each consisting of five fully armed commandos, one vehicle, and a driver), of elite force and 122 commandos will also be deployed while more than 1,500 personnel, consisting of 75 reserves of police, will be on standby to deal with any emergency situation.
