ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the biggest challenge for the state is to fight the extremist approach.
He was addressing the media after the inauguration of a photographic exhibition of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Islamabad on Monday.
The Minister said the message of the Quaid-e-Azam was very clear, and he had explained it in his important addresses to the constituent assembly, army personnel and bureaucrats. Prime Minister Imran Khan has been endeavoring to build Pakistan as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He said the Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal wanted the creation of a state where Muslims and minorities could lead their lives freely. He said the two iconic leaders had progressive thinking.
Fawad Chaudhry said the minorities in India are being persecuted.

Earlier, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry had asserted that the rise of “religious extremist” parties like Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) and the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) would ultimately harm the country.
Addressing a post-Cabinet press conference in Islamabad, the information minister claimed that the recently concluded local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa did not come under discussion during the meeting.
