Legendary comedian Majid Jahangir has passed away after a prolonged illness.
Famous for his role in the popular comedy series Fifty-Fifty, the comedian suffered injuries after he fell from his bed a month ago, according to his son Fahad Majid, who earlier confirmed his death.
According to details, his spine was fractured in the mishap and due to that, the actor was suffering from a respiratory illness that worsened recently.

Majid Jahangir, who was residing in Lahore, will be laid to rest in Karachi. The actor lost partial function of his body to paralysis almost five years ago.
Jahangir was honoured with the Pride of Performance Award — the highest accolade in Pakistan — for his memorable performance in Fifty Fifty. He worked for Pakistan Television Network (PTV) for 22 years.
