A team from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted a raid at the residence of Armaghan, the main suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case, and confiscated several items during the operation.
Among the seized items were 18 additional laptops and various electronic devices. The FIA also took custody of a luxury Audi vehicle owned by Armaghan. The car is suspected to have been acquired through proceeds of money laundering, and the FIA’s anti-money laundering division has confirmed that it will be included in the ongoing investigation. A truck was called in to transport the vehicle from the suspect’s residence.
On Tuesday, an anti-terrorism court extended Armaghan’s physical remand for six more days as part of the investigation into the high-profile murder case. Both Armaghan and co-accused Sheraz appeared before the court during the hearing.
Sheraz’s defense lawyer argued that a witness to the murder had been falsely implicated as an accused in the case. Following the hearing, Sheraz was sent to jail under judicial custody.
