The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Rizwan Bari, Director of Iqra University, Islamabad, on charges of harassing female students, a private TV channel reported on Monday.
According to FIA sources, the accused was arrested from Islamabad. He had made email and social media accounts in the name of a victim girl.
He, pretending to be a victim girl on social media, had sent objectionable content to many people on social media.
A case was registered against the accused under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) Act.
Further investigations against the accused were underway.
