LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested senior journalist Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain from Gullberg, Lahore, ARY News reported on Thursday.
As per details, Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain was taken into custody from a coffee shop in Gulberg area of Lahore.
“About 30 FIA officials came to arrest my father,” Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain’s son was quoted as saying on ARY News “They took my father to FIA office.”

Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain’s son further claimed his father was arrested in an old closed case.
It is worth mentioning that in recent months quite a few Pakistani journalists including Imran Riaz, Jameel Farooqui have been arrested by the authorities.
