Actor Feroze Khan’s lawyer has approached the FIA himself against actor Muneeb Butt weeks after Feroze Khan made news for sending legal notices to actors and singers for perpetuating “false and baseless allegations” of abuse against him.
Feroze Khan’s lawyer Faique Ali Jagirani approached the Federal Investigation Agency on Friday.
On his public Instagram account, Khan posted what was allegedly the legal notification. It included the private details of the celebrities, including their home locations and, frequently, their mobile phone numbers. A lot of celebrities are suing him for violating their privacy even though he swiftly erased the tweet. However, his wife Aiman Khan was, and he complained to the FIA on her behalf even though Butt’s name wasn’t on the list of stars mentioned.

In a now expired Instagram story, Butt had advised Khan to change his lawyer, accusing Jagirani of using the case to “[gain] YouTube subscribers”. He posted the comments in January. “Advocate sahab Mashallah gaining YouTube subscribers from your [Feroze Khan] case. This case will go on until he gets a silver button!”

Jagirani has now approached the FIA for action against Butt for “defaming” him and his firm.
According to a copy of the complaint filed at the Karachi Cyber Crime Reporting, Jagirani filed the complaint with the FIA’s cybercrime division on Friday. “Mr. Muneeb Butt, a member of the entertainment business, has been disparaging my legal practice, Coopers Law Firm, and me as a lawyer on social media sites like Instagram without justification. Muneeb Butt’s actions “violated constitutional rights protected by Article 14 of Pakistan’s 1973 Constitution, the inviolability of men’s dignity, etc., as well as his dishonest aim with ulterior motives to discredit me and my law practice,” he wrote.

Jagirani’s complaint said that he wants the FIA to prosecute Butt under the law as his actions are in violation of Section 24 of the PECA, 2016. He also submitted a hand-written application to the in-charge of the FIA cybercrime Karachi, requesting the initiation of legal action and an FIR against Butt.
