Feroze Khan offered help aeronautical engineer who ended up selling sherbet on the streets in Karachi after being unable to find a job.
A video went viral of the young engineer Abdul Malik, who has set up a pushcart at Model Colony area in Malir selling watermelon sherbet. Actor Feroze Khan has offered his support to him, saying that he would like to hire him and asked for his whereabouts.
Abdul Malik went to China to obtain a degree in aeronautical engineering but ended up selling juice upon his return to Pakistan owing to a lack of employment opportunities.
He completed schooling from Dubai and later enrolled at a Chinese University to get a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering.
He returned to Pakistan and interned at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, followed by a job as a trainee engineer at the Peshawar Flying Club. Despite his qualification and experience, he could neither find a suitable job or salary.
Speaking to local media, Abdul Malik said that applied to all the airports and sent applications to several aviation companies, but never received a positive response. He said he lacked referrals or sources and had to face a setback.
Abdul Malik was left with no other option but to sell watermelon juice to make ends meet and sustain his family. He was jobless for six months before he ended up selling juice which is getting popular in the area.
He appeared dejected and said his career and future have been destroyed. He has warned to throw away his degrees and certificates.
