LAHORE: The funeral prayers of journalist Sadaf Naeem, who died during the long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), were performed in Ichhra, after which she was laid to rest in Mayani Sahib graveyard in Lahore.
A large number of local journalists, family members of deceased journalist and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders including Fawad Chaudhry, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Omar Sarfraz Cheema attended funeral prayers.

Sadaf Naeem’s husband Muhammad Naeem declared her death an accident and decided not to take any further actions. Soon after the incident, Imran Khan came down from his vehicle and announced the postponement of the long march until the next day (today).
Her husband said wife fell off container and was crushed in an accident. Police handed over Sadaf’s dead body to the family last night after which she was laid to rest.
Sadaf was associated with journalism for the past 12 years, one of his He has a son and a daughter while he was the second among three sisters and a brother.
