RAWALPINDI: A female doctor named Naila at Razi Hospital accidentally decapitated a newborn’s head by cutting his throat during childbirth.
The pregnant woman was shifted to the Razi Hospital based in Rawalpindi last night due to deteriorated health. Sources said that the hospital administration was pressuring the woman’s family not to take action.
The victim informed the New Town police station, while the police reached the spot and the lady doctor managed to escape from the hospital. Police sources said that the victim’s family will be served justice and the lady doctor will be arrested.
It is to be noted that after this incident which took place in the hospital, an atmosphere of fear has been created among other patients and their attendants, while the action is being demanded against the doctor involved.
