ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Wednesday has reduced the price of petrol.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Political Affairs, Dr Shahbaz Gill said that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 5 per litre after which the new price of petrol will be Rs 140.82 per litre.
He said that after a reduction of Rs 5 per litre in diesel price, the new price has been fixed at Rs 137.62 per litre while the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs 7 per litre and the new price will be Rs 109.53.

Shahbaz Gill said that the price of light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs. 7 per litre.
The new prices will be applicable from today midnight and will be effective for the next 15 days.
