ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Pakistani air force and navy to end the occupation of government land.
According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet was held under the chairmanship of PM Imran Khan in which important national and political issues were discussed and important decisions were taken.
During the federal cabinet meeting, Pakistan’s navy and air force were directed to vacate the occupied government lands, especially the National Park area of Islamabad.
Talking during the cabinet meeting, the prime minister said that action would be taken against influential and powerful people occupying government lands as well as institutions.
During the meeting, PM Imran Khan directed the senior officials of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force to re-mark their boundaries, which was informed to the media by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
Addressing a news conference after the meeting of the federal cabinet, Chaudhry said that besides the air force and navy, Islamabad police was also directed to end the occupation.

The Information Minister said that the Islamabad Capital Police has been directed to remove its check posts from the green areas and the Prime Minister has hinted at taking action against the occupation of government lands.
He said that the management of Centaurus Mall in Islamabad has also been directed to end the illegal occupation. The government intends to take strong action against illegal occupations.
