QUETTA: A soldier of the Frontier Corps was martyred during an attack by militants near Shapak in district Hoshab of Balochistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, sepoy Kifaitullah, a resident of Sibi, embraced martyrdom when militants attacked a water bowser through a pressurised IED.
“Such cowardly acts by inimical elements, backed by hostile intelligence agencies (HIAs) cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan,” stated the ISPR. “Security forces are determined to neutralise their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives,” it added.
Last week, five personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) were martyred during patrolling in a terrorist attack in Sangan area of Sibi district in Balochistan.
“During the exchange of fire heavy losses were inflicted on to the terrorists in men and materials,” it said the military’s media wing said in a statement. It added that five brave soldiers of the Frontier Corps embraced martyrdom in the incident.
The martyred soldiers were identified as Havaldar Zafar Ali Khan and Lance Naik Hidayatullah, both residents of Lakki Marwat, Lance Naik Nasir Abbas, a resident of Bhakkar, Lance Naik Basheer Ahmed, a resident of Naseerabad, and Sepoy Noor Ullah, a resident of Lakki Marwat.
