ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has asked the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) to investigate the income records of Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and film star Sana Fakhar.
According to the reports, the FBR has requested the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to assist in the investigation. In a letter sent to FIA, the FBR asked the former to provide Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s travel history for the last six years. As per the letter, details of his foreign trips from July 1, 2014, to date have been requested.
Separately, the FBR has written a letter to the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) and sought details of Sana’s overseas trips.
The FBR in the letter to FIA Director Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) asked to investigate film star Sana Fakhar overseas trips during the last five years.
The film star Sana showed Rs 13,05,890 as her earning details in 2019 however she paid Rs79,759 in tax returns in the same year.
Sana also showed property income in its statements and now the FBR wants to estimate Sana Fakher’s income abroad.
