ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has slammed Pakistani Universities for not guiding the government any research about coronavirus, the disease that has affected more than 1200 people in the country.
He took to twitter and wrote that everywhere around the world, the universities were providing the guidelines to their governments through leading research and policy papers but not Pakistani universities.

He further wrote that why our universities were silent spectators in this issue as we, as a nation, needed to initiate the research.
The federal minister earlier announced his coronavirus test reports that he was pleased to share with the world that his test reports for coronavirus detection came out negative.
He said, “Time between the taking of samples for testing and then getting the final reports were very tough on him and tested his patience and gratitude greatly.”
Chaudhry also urged people to just keep on practicing accurate sanitation and hygiene practices to defeat coronavirus.
