Much-loved Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has been appointed as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for the South Asian country by UN Development Program.
The Zindagi Gulzar Hai actor reached the height of success in a short span of time with his good looks and phenomenal acting skills. Through this program, Khan will help UNDP in raising awareness and achieving its Agenda 2030, to improve livelihood and resilience across the country.
Khan in this regard took to social media and wrote, “Honoured and excited to start my journey as @UNDP_Pakistan’s Goodwill Ambassador! I truly believe that the Sustainable Development Goals provide us with a roadmap for peace and prosperity, for people and the planet. This is an exciting opportunity for me to raise awareness and advocate the Agenda 2030.”

On the work front, Fawad Khan will be seen next in Bilal Lashari’s Action film The Legend of Maula Jatt, alongside Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbassi in which Fawad will play the title role originated by Sultan Rahi. For the role, he gained considerable weight.

He has also signed to play pop singer Alamgir in Sultan Ghani’s Albela Rahi. He will also appear in Faisal Qureshi’s comedy film Money Back Guarantee and movie ‘Neelofar’ starring Mahira Khan.
Fawad Khan will also be seen in the lead role of renowned director and producer Haseeb Hasan’s upcoming film ‘Aan’. Khan will also have a role in the upcoming Ms. Marvel web miniseries which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will stream on Disney+ in 2022.
