Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, earlier this month, had reiterated that the Opposition would fail if they file a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan-led federal government.
Talking to journalists in Islamabad, the federal minister said that the Opposition could not bring a no-confidence motion against the government in the last three-and-a-half years despite tall claims, and it wouldn’t be able to defeat the government now.
“They do not have the required numbers,” Rashid said, adding, “They are not even allies as the JUI-F has another political angle and the PPP and PML-N have another. Now they are knocking on the doors of our allies.”
