ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former information minister Fawad Chaudhry has asked PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif to share the details of “NRO 2022” allegedly given to his family and party. He also accused coalition government of making a “mockery of our country.
The PTI leader pointed out that the former prime minister never addressed the nation directly as “he has not yet gained confidence” to do that.
Fawad remarked during a press conference in Islamabad, “Nawaz Sharif should disclose the specifics of the contract under which he is trying to return to Pakistan.
He alleged that the coalition administration was “making a mockery of our country” and demanded to know who was responsible for leaking the audio clips.

Fawad bemoaned the state of Prime Minister’s Office, asking, “What sort of a country is this if discussions are being leaked from there?”
If this nation had been civilized, there would have been many resignations, but instead, he claimed, we have only witnessed unanticipated shifts in state policies as a result of the recent change in political leadership.
The PTI leader emphasized that “terrorists” are now in positions of authority and stated that this has diminished the dignity of Pakistan’s important offices.
He emphasized the challenges Pakistan had at its founding and said, “We need to preserve and protect the dignity of democracy.”
The PTI leader reiterated that those who were “terrorists” are now holding important offices, adding that the dignity of Pakistan’s important offices has been hurt.

“We need to respect and protect the dignity of democracy,” he said while highlighting the struggles that went into creating Pakistan.
He recalled the incidents during President Arif Alvi’s address in the joint Parliament session earlier this week. “Government allies were chanting slogans during the president’s address. Is this how a civilized nation behaves?” he questioned.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is pleased to receive a million dollars in aid from Germany, but Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s personal expenses are around billion dollars, Fawad stated in reference to Germany’s decision to donate €10 million to Pakistan in flood relief funding.
The country is currently experiencing a political and governmental crisis, the former minister of information bemoaned, adding that the “type of instability we are witnessing today is unparalleled.”
Fawad reported that two-thirds of the populace wants immediate elections because the existing provincial and federal cabinet members have not been able to administer the administration.
