A special person who had gone to the beach in Gadani with his family for recreation drowned and died while trying to save his son, as reported by national media on Monday.
According to details, Kareem Shah, a resident of Banaras Kati Pahari in Karachi, had his 12-year-old son Ubaid swept away by strong waves while bathing in the sea.
The father also became a victim of the sea while trying to save the child. According to local residents, Kareem Shah lived in a rented house.
Notably, such incidents happen in Gadani and nearby coastal areas again and again due to ignorance of safety measures and lack of supervision at beaches.
People should be aware of the potential dangers before visiting beaches, especially in Gadani and nearby coastal areas, where incidents occur frequently due to a lack of safety measures and supervision.
Despite the recurrence of such tragedies, there is no system in place to warn or protect the public from dangerous tides, particularly in unguarded areas like Gadani.
Families often visit these locations for leisure, unaware of the risks, which can turn a day of enjoyment into a heartbreaking experience. It is crucial to stay informed and exercise caution when visiting these areas.
