ISLAMABAD: An accountability court has extended the hearing of fake accounts case against former president Asif Ali Zardari till 3rd March as he skipped the hearing.
AC Judge Azam Khan conducted the hearing of the same case. The former president skipped the hearing due to his poor health condition.
Asif Ali Zardari earlier filed a petition in which he pleaded the court to grant him immunity from appearing in the court due to his health condition. The plea of Zardari was accepted by the court.
He was also granted the bail by the Islamabad High Court on medical grounds in the fake accounts and money laundering case.
He earlier on 5th February said that the entire nation was united for the freedom of Kashmir.
Zardari said that India could not continue to seize Kashmiris in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) by the use of brutal power.
Zardari further said that Kashmir has been turned into the largest prison in the world.
He added that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions as independence is the basic right of Kashmiris.
