LAHORE: Faisal Masjid Islamic Center of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has commenced online classes for the students of Tehfeez and Qirat amid coronavirus crisis.
According to the head of the Faisal Masjid Islamic Center, Dr. Zia ur Rehman, the center started classes to ensure the safety of the children keeping in view the global pandemic.
He said students attend classes via video calls and other online alternatives. He added as many as 85 students of a total of eight classes of different stages had been taking classes of Tehfeez and Qirat.
He further told that 39 teachers of the institute and officials remain in contact with parents on a daily basis, while parents are supervising children to ensure their attendance in online classes.
He said parents have shown satisfaction over this initiative saying that online classes saved the loss of educational delay. He said brave nations have the courage to defeat natural calamities by collective efforts and alternatives ways.
He also urged the nation to cooperate with the government by following all required protective steps to combat coronavirus spread.
