Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif has claimed that failing economy was a bigger threat to Pakistan than coronavirus.
Shehbaz Sharif in a statement today (Friday) said that the foolish deal of PTI-led government with IMF would create further problems to counter the coronavirus outbreak.
He further said that transfer of $ 600 million outside Pakistan is a verification of our concerns, adding that a serious strategy is required to deal with the impact of global loss of $ 9 trillion.
Commenting on downfall of stock exchange, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Stock Exchange has already plunged by ten percent, and inevitable harm will be done if appropriate steps are not taken.
He asserted that a national policy is needed at the moment in light of the global economic challenges.
Criticizing PTI government, he said that the world was busy in fight with the outbreak of coronavirus, whereas, Pakistan’s government was battling with media and opposition.
