RAWALPINDI: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has said that expansion of Islamabad’s Red Zone by 4 kilometers and 6 posh sectors is actually a master plan to trigger riot in the federal capital.
Taking to Twitter, Sheikh Rashid said the government failed to frame charges of deaths of Arshad Sharif and female reporter Sadaf Naeem against the Chairman of PTI Imarn Khan. He said when he was in government, the railway project of ML-1 was approved for six billion dollars from ECNEC, but the present government had allocated about 10 billion dollars for the same.

Referring to efforts to evict him from Lal Haveli, Sheikh Rashid said anyone trying to occupy Lal Haveli would have to go through his dead body.
He said Imran Khan’s strategy would prove decisive and fetch result in November. He said Nawaz Sharif’s narrative was based on bankruptcy, running away from elections and anti-democracy. He further said that the rulers were not giving relief to the masses, instead, they had come to get relief for themselves.
“The election politics of the government is buried, therefore, they are resorting to spread fears,” Sheikh Rashid said, adding that those who brought them (current rulers) to power were regretting, and that elections would have to be held in any case.
