Famous couple Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid, who have a one-year-old daughter Khai together, have recently parted ways.
The duo was in a relationship since 2015 and had welcomed their daughter ‘Khai Hadid Malik’ in September 2020.
It all started when Zayn Malik announced about his and Gigi Hadid’s separation after a heated spat happened between them over a family member. Taking on to social media account, Malik announced that both had parted ways and it’s a ‘private matter’.
Zayn’s statement
Zayn in an Instargram wrote, “This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.”
Moreover, he talked about protecting his daughter Khai from all this situation saying, “I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.”

What Gigi has to say?
Gigi Hadid’s official representatives have finally spoken out regarding the alleged altercation instigated between her mother Yolanda and partner Zayn Mailk. An official representative for Gigi Hadid stepped forward with this statement.
During their interview with TMZ, the representative was quoted saying, “Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time.”
What went wrong?
It has been reported that Zayn struck Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid. However, the singer denied such claims. Moreover, the actual reason for their break up is still unknown.
