Actor Vin Diesel, who essayed the role of Dominic Toretto in the famous movie ‘Fast & Furious’ has explained why the movie series is coming to an end.
The actor has played the character in the movie since the franchise’s first installment in 2001. During an interview, he revealed there are plans to conclude the saga with two more movies after the F9 movie.
Diesel also said that the final two films could potentially release in 2023 and 2024 respectively. “Every story deserves its own ending,” he said.
“I know people are going to feel like it doesn’t have to end, but I think all good things should. There are reasons for a finale. I think this franchise has deserved it,” he added.

Diesel also talked about how the series has come a long way, but he finally sees a finish line, “This franchise was born from the pavement, from the concrete. The world just championed this underdog to a place where it has already surpassed all of these other franchises. However, the franchise has a soul, and that soul has to rest.” Diesel also admitted that the announcement of the series’ conclusion brought his daughter to tears.
