ISLAMABAD: The government announced new elections in the country in 90 days after dissolving the assemblies.

This was announced by the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib through his Twitter handle.

He said that the Prime Minister had thwarted the conspiracy against the government and suggested to the President to dissolve the Assemblies and new elections would be held in the country in 90 days.

Earlier in the day, Federal Law Minister Fawad Chaudhry had termed the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan as a foreign conspiracy, after which Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri had declared the no-confidence motion null and void and adjourned the sitting. ۔
