LAHORE: The Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that there will be only general elections in the coming days, and that he has prepared more more surprises for (political) opponents in future.

Addressing a ceremony about Data Darbar Parking Plaza here on Tuesday, Pervaiz Elahi said “all quarters” had been holding dialogues on how to save the country from facing economic default.

Later, taking to Twitter, he said general elections would take place pretty soon, and that PTI would win with overwhelming majority. He said
عام انتخابات جلد ہوں گے اور پی ٹی آئی بھاری اکثریت سے کامیاب ہوگی۔ پنجاب اسمبلی عمران خان کی امانت تھی۔جب عمران خان نے کہا اسمبلی کی امانت انہیں واپس کردی۔ہم جس کے ساتھ چلتے ہیں، خلوص اور دل سے ساتھ نبھاتے ہیں۔عمران خان پاکستان کے سب سے مقبول ترین لیڈر ہیں۔

He said “Imran Khan is the most popular leader of Pakistan,” adding that on the day of vote of confidence in Punjab Assembly, the (political) opponents were taught such a lesson that their generations would not forget, and there were more surprises ready for them in the days to come.
