PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ajmal Wazir has announced that a 15-day paid leave would be granted to the employees above age 50.
While addressing the media reporters in Peshawar today, Ajmal Wazir said that the KP government along with the elderly employees would grant a 15-day paid leave to pregnant women as well.
While talking about the spread of the coronavirus, he said that the provisional government has considered temporarily closing all the offices for a certain period of time, but no practical implementation has been made yet.
He further said that his government has set up additional quarantine centres for the above 250 pilgrims arriving in Peshawar and groceries for them have also been arranged.
So far 15 people have tested positive of Coronavirus in the province. The number of virus cases has risen to 195 in the country.
Pakistan in this regard has reported the second death of suspected coronavirus patients in Lahore today. According to sources, the patient admitted to Lahore’s Mayo Hospital died. The patient identified as Imran was the resident of Hafizabad.
