KARACHI: Flight lieutenant in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Dr. Mahnoor Farzand has died due to coronavirus.
According to the Pakistan Medical Association, eight-month-pregnant Flight Lieutenant Dr. Mahnoor Farzand died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Malir on Sunday.
PMA Secretary General Dr. Qaiser Sajjad said that the deceased was eight months pregnant and had been undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Malir Cantt for a week due to the virus.

Dr. Qaiser Sajjad said that the father of Dr. Mahnoor Farzand is also suffering from coronavirus and is undergoing treatment at CMH Hospital.
According to PMA, so far 77 doctors have lost their lives due to the coronavirus epidemic in Sindh. So far, 220 doctors have died of coronavirus across the country.

According to the PMA, 74 of the dead doctors were from Punjab, 64 from Sindh, 53 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, three from Balochistan, three from Azad Kashmir, and one from Gilgit-Baltistan
