The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Lahore has announced tubewell operating hours to ensure uninterrupted water supply to citizens during Eidul Adha 2025.
A notification issued by the agency states the tubewells will operate in three different time slots throughout the Eid days to ensure adequate water availability for consumers.
The Eidul Adha will be celebrated in Pakistan from June 7 to 9.
On the first day of Eid, the first slot will run from 4:00 am to 12:00 pm, the second from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and the third from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
On the second day of Eid, water supply will be provided from 4:00 am to 10:30 am, then 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
According to the WASA Managing Director, all directors have been instructed to conduct a complete survey of Eidgahs and mosques and to promptly resolve any complaints related to water overflow.
He further stated that all field offices will remain fully operational and the staff will be actively deployed.
Instructions have also been issued for immediate repair in case of any tubewell or machinery malfunction.
WASA also said that all operational staff will work in three shifts around the clock during Eid, and all staff leave has been canceled to ensure that citizens do not face any inconvenience.
